Meyer Music provides renowned repair work by full-time professional technicians. All Meyer techs have years of experience, having learned their craft through apprentice programs, with major manufacturers, other reputable dealers, or professional trade schools.
Repair Estimates
We provide free repair estimates on band and orchestra instruments. We do not service guitars or keyboards.
Due to the complicated nature of instrument repair, our techs need to see the instrument for an estimate and cannot do so over the phone.
We are typically unable to repair off-brand instruments due to a lack of parts and the lower grade of metal often used in these instruments.
For student instruments, complete the repair request form for school-direct service.
Facilities
We offer the best-staffed and most efficient instrument repair facilities in Michigan. We provide a fully-equipped shop with specialized tools with a comprehensive inventory of factory-approved parts and supplies.
We provide free weekly pickup and delivery of instruments to schools serviced. Expedited service in case of emergencies or concert requirements may also provided.
The Meyer Music String Shop
We have a complete repair facility for orchestral instruments, equipped with specialized tools and supplies for repairing and maintaining string instruments according to the highest professional standards. Our string specialists are orchestral musicians who provide the very finest in string adjustment, repair, and restoration.
Meyer’s Superior Protection
All new instruments require set-up after arriving from manufacturers, no matter the price or level. Our techs fully adjust and inspect every instrument we sell or rent to assure it is in top playing condition and ready for your student’s first note.
We are an authorized dealer for all the brands we carry so we have full access to manufacturer warranties and parts, ensuring expert repairs with faster turn-around. We also add our own warranty which includes full service and maintenance.
Extended Maintenance Coverage
We offer an extended repair and maintenance plan for customers who purchase their rental instrument and wish to continue with the repair protection they enjoyed while renting. More information.
