Stop by any Meyer Music store location to return your instrument in-person and close your account.
Return via School
If your school year has finished we cannot guarantee pick up and you should bring the instrument to a store location.
Please click and follow each step to return your instrument at school:
1. Complete Return Form
If you’ve already returned your instrument, no need to complete this form.
If your school year has finished we cannot guarantee pick up and you should bring the instrument to a store location.
2. Print Notification
Meyer Return Note
Print and fill out this note then have your student stick this in the case when they leave it with their teacher. If you don’t have access to a printer, please write the same information clearly on a piece of paper.
3. Clean Out Case
Have your student clean out any personal items from their case and remove any stickers. Ensure that the mouthpiece and all components are in the case. The music stand and school book are yours to keep and do not need to be returned.
4. Check with Teacher
Some teachers have a special system in place for instrument returns at the end of the school year.
If your school is on this list, please contact your teacher for their specific directions:
- Forest Hills Band & Orchestra
- Reeths-Puffer Band
- Coopersville
- All Saints Academy
- St. Patrick- Parnell
Important Reminders
- Rental payments go toward the ownership of your instrument. If your student plans to continue next year, keep your instrument over the summer so they can practice and you can continue building equity. Returning your instrument will end your rent-to-own agreement and you would need to start over if you need to rent again in the fall.
- We cannot guarantee instrument pick up at school after the last day of the school year. Please double-check your district calendar.
